1. Farewell function for 2017-21 batch (9th Outgoing Batch) organized by the 2018-22 batch students on 13.04.2022. The Chief Guest Dr.M.Natarajan.,M.B.B.S., M.D (Gen), JIPMER has felicitated the function and blessed the outgoing batch students. Our correspondent has presided over the function. 5. On account of World Asthma Day Celebration, SSM college of Pharmacy (Pharmacy Practice Department and NSS Unit) with Primary Health Centre, Jambai had organized a free health check-up & counseling camp to the public at Jambai on 05.05.2022.
6. On the occasion of National Voters Day, The NSS team of SSMCOP organized voters day pledge ceremony. The Principal, Staff & students took Voters Day Pledge in the campus on 04.02.2022.
7. World Leprosy Day 2022 was conducted @ SSM College of Pharmacy on 31.01.2022. Principal Dr.B.Sangameswaran has delivered the key message & created awareness among our students.
8. The Third, Fourth & Fifth year Pharm.D students of SSM College of Pharmacy have visited The Madras Pharmaceuticals, located at Chennai & enriched their knowledge about the manufacturing of medicines, its production methods, QA & QC techniques.
9. The World Parkinson’s Day is celebrated every year, 11th April. On this occasion the Department of Pharmacy Practice has organized a Model case presentation event. The students of Pharm.D course have presented model case presentation.
10. On account of International Women’s Day, A programme was organized by Women’s Welfare Department of SSM College of Pharmacy. The Chief Guest address delivered by Ganakeswari., IPS, ADSP, CWC Erode in the topic of Crime Against Women & Children, Mrs.A.Ponnammal, Inspector, Bhavani, AWPS and Mrs.V.B.Saranya, Sub inspector, Bhavani, AWPS made the awareness about fake money transaction, Girls student’s safety and POCSO awareness on 26.03.2022.
11. On account of world TB Day SSM College of Pharmacy NSS unit & Jambai Primary Health Centre jointly organized TB Awareness Rally on 25.03.2022.
12. International Women’s Day celebrated at SSM College of Pharmacy. The Tree Plantation campaign was preceded by Madam chairman and Madam correspondant, Dr.P.Dhanalakshmi, MBBS,Senior Assistant Surgeon, PHC Appakudal, Jambai Block, Erode (DT), MRS. Srilegha Selvam, MA, MSW HR,Child Line District Co-Ordinator, Erode, J.Shantha Devi, Family Welfare Counselor delivered their special guest address regarding Teenage pregnancy and made awareness among our girls students on 08/03/2022.

The institution Innovation Council (IIC) & NSS Unit jointly organized a seminar on National Science Day with the theme – “Integrated Approach in Science & Technology for Sustainable Future” on 26-02.2022. Chief guest A.Anandhasayanam., M.Pharm., Ph.D has delivered the address. On this occasion conducted essay writing, elocution, poster presentation competitions & Science exhibition at our campus on 28.02.2022.
14. The Dept of Pharmaceutics collaboration with NSS and YRC Unit organized a awareness seminar on World Cancer Day with theme “Close the Care Gap” on 26-2-2022.
